Who we are

This website is operated by Rivion Security d.o.o. (“Rivion”, “we”, “us”), the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Address
Kvintička 55, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia
Website
rivion.net

What personal data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to give us, and basic technical data needed to run the site securely.

  • Contact form data: when you contact us through the form on this website, we collect your name, email address, subject and the content of your message, and your company name if you choose to provide it.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and access times) in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. Your IP address is also used briefly to limit repeated submissions of the contact form.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles about you.

Why we process your data and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it — legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure and operational — legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and integrity of our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to function and to remember your language preference. We do not use analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) who help us operate the website, under appropriate data-processing agreements:

  • Hosting: Vercel Inc. — hosts the website and processes server logs.
  • Email delivery: Resend (and its email infrastructure provider, Amazon SES) — delivers messages submitted through the contact form to our inbox.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

International data transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the United States). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 12 months unless a longer period is required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@rivion.net.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian supervisory authority, the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP)www.azop.hr.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for the website and access controls for the systems that handle your messages.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date above.
